But when a Prince on a unicorn offers Jenny some sexy solace, maybe things will work out ok? "Unicorn Frappe" is a frothy satire about wedding culture, addiction, societal pressure on women and just how far we will go to avoid the truth.

We are currently looking for a new unproduced work for a late 2023 or early 2024 production. Along with a fully-mounted production, the winning work is awarded a prize of $400, as well as a recording of the production uploaded publicly to YouTube.

The submission must be written in the English Language. The submission must be an original, full-length play that is unpublished. The submission must begin with a title page that includes the work’s name and the playwright’s name, address, telephone number, and email. There should also include a character list and scene breakdown if applicable. The cast for the play must be limited to no more than 10. The script may have more than one author. Also, the playwright(s) may include a brief biography, but it is not necessary. Playwrights may submit multiple plays as long as each has an accompanying entry fee. For example, to enter two scripts, the playwright must submit entry fees totaling $30. There will be no revision accepted once a script has been submitted. There will be no written or oral critique given on scripts submitted. We will notify the playwright(s) whose play have been selected for production. The play selected will be announced on our website. You may email your submission to cypressproductionsky@gmail.com and send your payment separately.
In order to qualify, the script must be submitted no later than July 31, 2023.
