Who I am…

Joan Dolf is a multidisciplinary theatre artist born and raised in their hometown of Lexington, KY. In 2017, she founded Cypress, where she continues to mount original stories and performances. Joan graduated from Columbia College Chicago in 2021 with a BFA in Acting and is currently the Technical Director at the Pam Miller Downtown Arts Center.

When Joan isn’t telling stories, she spends her time playing Gamecube, watching movies, and hanging out with her partner Emma and their cats Marcy and Bubbles.
